Death of Ira B Wood at 70 in Nebraska

Ira B Wood died of heart failure at his home three miles southeast of Diller on Sunday morning. Born August 29 1833 in Brookfield Massachusetts he served in the Civil War with the 6th Michigan Day. He married Miss Ans Outhet August 1867 and they had nine children, eight of whom survive. Funeral from the Christian church was held Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev Mills with interment in Prairie Home cemetery as Nickajack Post G A R pallbearers.
