Miss Averil Fouts traveled by train from Blue Springs on Thursday of last week. She planned to visit Blair and Dekota City in Nebraska for a week with friends and colleagues.
Forrest Warthen, who had visited here with his grandma and Mrs Warthen and Florence, returned Wednesday to his home in Washington Kansas.

A mission feast will be held next Sunday at Luchring Grove by the Zion church eight miles south of town. Rev. F. Wiegmann of Lincoln Nebraska will assist the pastor in morning and afternoon services.
Notices to appear at Fairbury next Monday for examination have been received by several in the vicinity of Diller who had registered for the draft and others will be received later until Jefferson county has furnished her quota.

Bible School is postponed to the first morning service at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The union service at the Presbyterian church will be at 7 15 p m with preaching at 8.
