On Sunday April 18 Mrs E McCune hosted a dinner at Hilton Street in surprise honor of Mr McCune on his fourth birthday. Barn Fire Destroys Meyers Farm Structure In Early Morning Blaze

John F Meyers barn burned in rural Dill er area early Tuesday about 3 a m. The 62 by 62 foot building housed hay oats and horse stock and was insured for 1000 with Jefferson Co Assessment Association. Loss covered by insurance and adjusted by 3 pm. The blaze caused major farm disruption during the busy season and a nearby Buick near miss was noted.
