Joe Carmichael and his son Hugh of St Francis Kansas stopped in Monday evening after being in Topeka for J T on Federal grand jury duty. They lived 28 years near Diller on Capt Andrews farm, now own a large Cheyenne county ranch with a substantial wheat and corn crop and cattle feeding operations.

Dorcas Class Entertains In Fairbury Church Basement

The Dorcas Class of the M. E. Sunday school held a pleasant April 15 1926 gathering in the church basement. Forty ladies and children shared a luncheon of sandwiches pickles upside down cake whipped cream and coffee. Honor was given to Mrs Ben Henrichs and Mrs Eugene Diller who plan to move to Fairbury this month and next respectively with best wishes for happiness in their new home.
