A fatal carbolic acid incident near Fairbury is reported, along with Chamberlain remedies and other goods.
Mrs Anna Nelson advertises dressmaking services in the Copeland property area offering reasonable prices and guaranteed satisfaction with a trial, solicited by the advertiser.

The Business Men's Association plans a Nov 1 banquet to honor mile winners and distribute 160 in prizes, with about 150 plates. Local officials emphasize public spirit, urging all overseers to attend and praising improved roads for property value and community pride.
