Price Challenged Homestead Claim on Nutter Land
Lincoln man J W Price had attempted to file a homestead on Walt Nutters land south of Endicott. Nutter found the title valid and Price had no homestead rights despite records. The land had been granted to S J Joseph and Denver railway on March 28 1870 with a patent issued in April that year. Nutter holds clear title through the railroad company.
