William Tincher Killed In Action On Okinawa
William Neal Tincher II 21 son of Mr and Mrs Don Tincher of Lincoln Nebraska was killed in action while in service. He enlisted over two years ago and served in radar duties on a destroyer escort in the Pacific. Born in Diller he moved to Portsmouth and Lincoln where he attended Northeast High and Wesleyan before joining the Navy.
