Maw Returns From Kansas Trip to Gladly View Wheat Farm
D S Maw traveled from McDonald Kansas to visit his wife then planned to return with her in their car. He bought a half section in Rawlins county with about 200 acres of winter wheat and is building a new structure assisted by his son Floyd and son in law Frank Johnson.

Odell Gun Club Wins Trap Shooting Match
Odell, Lincoln, Strang, and Exeter clubs held a trap shooting event at Odell with about forty shooters and a crowd watching. Odell won by one target in the 250 third race. C. L. Red Cross Nurse Honored on Homecoming in Diller
Miss Bessie Cherry, who served over six months as a Red Cross nurse at base hospital No. 49 in France, was welcomed with an impromptu reception at the Diller depot. Local children, the Red Cross chapter, Rev. H W Wagner, and the high school glee club helped honor her upon arrival on No 17 at 5 p m. She will rest at her parents home before resuming her nursing duties.

Obituary of Louise Kathrine Bausch of Diller Neb
Louise Kathrine Bausch born October 5 1851 in Hanover Germany daughter of Conrad and Anna Mary Plager came to Bellevue Iowa at age two. She married Chas Bausch in 1871 at Bellevue later moving to Nebraska near Humboldt then Diller where she lived until death. She died April 16 1919 after strokes in St Joseph Missouri and Eureka Springs Arkansas distant from health trips. She joined Lutheran church early and later transferred to the Methodist church at Diller remaining faithful until the end.
