Educational Day Activities and Events Schedule

Educational Day includes school art displays programs tests and a town band concert. Rural schools compete in athletics after the concert with a schedule: 9 30 to 10 45 rural program 10 45 to 12 30 scholastic contests 12 30 to 1 45 picnic at park or 1 45 to 2 45 gymnasium 2 45 athletic contests at the ball park.

Wiese and Daughter Visit Diller Recount 1884 Cyclone

John G. Wiese and daughter Mrs. Wieting of Meadow Grove Nebr stopped in Diller for a brief visit on their Lincoln to Meadow Grove trip. He recalled his Harbine Diller years and his memory of the July 4 1884 cyclone that damaged buildings including the skating rink at L P Raymond's harness shop.
