The October meeting gathered at Mrs Freda Myers home with assistants Mrs Verda McKee and Mrs Helen Zauvg. Mrs Myrtle Wilson presided, devotional led by Mrs Ruth Shisler, and group singing by Mrs Alice Douglas. Members modeled homemade hats in a parade, with a plant exchange and a Halloween prank during roll call. Lunch featured sandwiches doughnuts candy fruit punch and coffee.

Mrs Rebecca A Ayers, 78, died Oct 19, 1919 in Massillon City Hospital. Funeral held at daughter Mrs Frva Mason’s home in Dilton with Rev CE Flauhaus officiating. Interment in Dalton cemetery.
