The Dalton Community Club met in the Methodist dining room with President C. L. Kraus presiding. Rev. L. M. Marker proposed a public forum on current events and international affairs. A committee of Lee Douglas, E. Vandersafl and Geo. Leitner was formed to install Christmas street lights. John Kirk led the program and welcomed C. D. Blubaugh of Knox County who shared his European relief trip noting Americans’ greater waste versus Europeans after visiting England, France, Italy, Greece, and Germany.
