Kerosene Explosion Injures Local Child
Saturday Dorothy Wingert nine years old daughter of Mr and Mrs Chas Wingert sustained severe facial burns after attempting to light a fire with kerosene. The hot stove ignited kerosene gas and a matth touched the kindling, flames lashing her face while her clothing thankfully did not ignite.

Death of Scott R Stinson in Dalton
Scott R Stinson son of R J Stinson of Dalton died Friday of tuberculosis after a three year illness. Born Sept 30 1887 in Dalton he worked six years in Cleveland as bookkeeper for American Steel Wyre Co before illness forced him home. Funeral conducted by Rev W H Hubbell and Rev M A Burris from his residence with interment in Dalton cemetery. Pallbearers included Rannels Stinson Root McAfee and McDowell. out of town attendees from Cleveland Canton Massillon Akron and others.
