Young lamp caretaker falls twenty two feet near Weilersville

Run Away Team Causes Town Run After Wagon Crash
Friday Mr J Rafeld driving near Benjt Batley’s residence the neck yoke broke sending the yoke to ground frightening the horses. The team dashed into town and east on Main Street at speed throwing Rafeld from the wagon and wrecking it. The team was captured near the cider mill Rafeld escaped unharmed.

A heavy gale swept the country Friday causing loss of life nationwide but in this area did light damage. A large pole on Bell line in west Main Street broke, trees uprooted, and many tin and paper roofs suffered considerable damage.
