Mary E. Horbach died after a week long pneumonia on February 23 in Dalton. Born June 27 1862 to William and Nancy Galloway the family lived near the Galloway homestead north of Dalton before moving to Dalton where she grew to womanhood. She married Frank E. Horbach on October 6 1881. he died in July 1904. Survived by daughters Lara and Marie and their husbands N R Geoney and Dr L L De Arment the deceased remained an active M E church member. Funeral services were held February 26 at her West Main Street home conducted by Pastor J N Moore with several assisting ministers. burial follows at Massillon cemetery in a receiving vault with interment scheduled later.
Mr. C. J. Harrold of the revenue office will be at the First National Bank in Dalton Ohio on Saturday March 6 1920 from noon to 9 pm to aid residents in filing income tax returns.

A singing and musical program is planned at the Pokeberry school house in Baughman township on Friday evening March 6. Burton City school will perform and most of the evening will feature audience singing of old time songs with a few numbers by the schools. Jenny Cully will lead the singing. All welcome to bring favorite songs and old time song books.
