The Dalton High School senior class will repeat the class play Professor Pepp for Red Cross aid. The show is at the School Hall Friday night June 14 at 8:00 PM with music by the Haydn Orchestra. Admission 15 cents for children under 14 and 25 cents for adults.
Wayne County records May sales of War Savings Stamps totaling 32 357 10 with total to June 1 122 034 49. Apple Creek leads with 9 475 44 in May. other communities report smaller figures. Apple Creek pledges 14 500 00. county goal 763 900 00 for the year. stamps bear 4 27 interest due January 1 1923 and are U S Government obligations.

In January Mrs. Abr. Schwartz broke a hip at home and, after slow recovery, visited her home in June from the sister Mrs. Peter Sommer. Smallpox scare subsiding with no new cases. vaccination cases variably mild. Visitors from Berne and Fort Wayne arrive. Rev. Jacob Nussbaum injured by a runaway horse but recovering. Auto incidents reported as close shaves. trips to Cleveland and Akron yield mixed results.
Peter J. Amstutz has been appointed and qualified as Executor of the estate of Mary Ann Amstutz of Wayne County Ohio. Probate Judge Charles A. Weiser confirms appointment.

Wayne county reports 273 men aged 21 since June 5 1917 registered last week for military service. Carl M. Brown was the only registrant from this place.

Citizens urged to attend the important dJeature at Odd Fellows Hall Wednesday evening June 19 at 8 PM. Local organizers promise notable speakers and community discussion on pressing local issues.
Mrs Effie E Kleppe of Averill Minnesota reports severe rheumatism and kidney trouble improved after three weeks in a sanitarium and two weeks elsewhere.
