Presbyterian Circles Hold Tuesday Meetings

The Circles of the Presbyterian church met Tuesday evening in four gatherings. Circle 1, hosted by Mrs. Ro bert Weikert with Mrs. Max Robart, featured devotions by Mrs. Elmer Ober and a social hour led by Mrs. Merle Douglas. Circle 2, at Mrs. Dale Scott’s home with Mrs. Russell Zeigler, had devotions by Mrs. Troy Douglas, a Jeep Tracks book from Mrs. Scott, and games led by Mrs. Clyde Wenger. Circle 3 met at Mrs. E. A. Van Dersall with co host Mrs. Carl Plasterer, devotions by Mrs. Glen Meier. Circle 4 at Mrs. Bessie McCullough’s home had co host Mrs. Pauline Dye and devotions by Mrs. Miles Tschantz.

Lorenz Family Attends Rotary Golden Anniversary in Chicago

Rev and Mrs Thomas W Lorenz and children David Tommy and Becky joined Rotary International’s golden anniversary in Chicago from May 31 to June 2. They visited friends in Van Wert and Chalmers Indiana and vacationed at Round Lake near Adrian Michigan. They plan to attend the North East Ohio Conference at Lakeside June 21 to 26. Betty Lorenz, Adrian College student, joined them at Round Lake and returned to Dalton with Rev Lorenz and David.

Twenty three graduates and members of the Class 1916 Dalton High School met on Memorial Day at the school house for a reunion dinner. Rev. Glenn M.
