Dalton Mill Reopens After Receiver Sale
The Dalton Milling Co plant, idle after an assignment, was sold by the receiver to W. H. Lintern of Shreve Ohio. Lintern plans to have the mill running with flour and feed stock by February 10 and will relocate his family to the area within two weeks. The reopening is welcomed as it should revive Dalton’s business.

Postmaster Jameson received a telegram Monday announcing the death of his cousin Mr Geo Jameson of Ada Ohio an attorney there He was a former resident and enlisted in the 169th Regt O V I in May 1864 serving as Ist Sergeant in Co E He was 74 years old.

11th Regt Band Winter Concert Delight
Despite poor weather a fair audience attended the 11th Regt Band's first winter concert in School hall. Prof Puegner received praise for training as Emmett Feasel and Charles Erwin earned encores with cornet and baritone solos. Robbers entered the Applecreek post office after eleven at night and cracked the safe with a blast. They took about 150 dollars in stamps and small change, then escaped on a horse and buggy toward Orrville.
