Dalton Band Festival Draws Largest Dalton Crowd Ever
A huge Dalton crowd filled Main Street and Tao for a band festival last Saturday night. The event featured the Dalton band with soloists Emmett Feasel and Walter Kurzen, plus a cornet and clarinet duet, and raised 118.18 dollars net, donated to the band. Local groups and two electric companies provided festival lighting, while the Board of Trade and Ladies Cemetery Association organized support and refreshments sold out. Chief Kosier managed traffic amid packed crowd and narrow lanes.
