Donovan has earned his wings at the Gunnery School in Las Vegas Nevada and will train at Gowen Field Boise Idaho with a bomber squadron before overseas duty. Donovan, 20, a Moscow High School graduate, previously worked at the Wright plant and has moved through Florida Las Vegas and Salt Lake City to Boise. His son-in-law Pfc Ross A Blackburn is in Alaska, and their 15 month old baby has not seen its father since six months old.

Live hogs are now under price ceilings set by the OPA in agreement with the War Food Administration. Harold Nichols and his wife welcome their son Allen Taylor Nichols home from Dutch Harbor where he has served with the U S Marine Corps for nine months after training at Cincinnati San Diego and Puget Sound. Nichols previously attended Greenbrier Military School Lewisburg and Miami University Oxford. He enlisted January 1942 and served six months aboard the battleship Nevada before going to Dutch Harbor.
