Man Pleads Innocent In Milford Manslaughter Case

Lyle Brewer aged 34 entered a not guilty plea to first degree manslaughter in Clermont County Court. He waived preliminary exam and was bound to the grand jury under 9000 dollars bond after shooting neighbor Edward Kaminski 34 with a shotgun following a reported shadow at a bathroom window. Brewer’s attorney is Hugh C. Nichols.

Conservationist Ray Naylor Named Clermont County Soil Conservationist

Ray Naylor 35 of 1435 Yarmouth Cincinnati assumed duties as Clermont County Soil Conservationist Monday replacing Mel Hesel who moved to Clark County. Lincoln County Kentucky native and University of Kentucky graduate with a BS in Agriculture, Naylor previously taught veterans agricultural classes in Rowan County and worked with Armour Fertilizer Co. before joining the Soil Conservation Service five years ago. He has spent the last three years in the Butler County SCS office. He is married to Beulah and they have two children Sandra 13 and Stove 8.

Intruders at Valley View Inn left shoe print impressions on a chair cushion guiding Williamsburg and Batavia police to three arrests. Anthony Wespasser Wil liam MacFarren Jr and the 19 year old from Bethel admitted burglaries at the inn Reed's Supermarket and a service station vending machines.
