Men Arrested After Milford Inn Bar Holdup Chase
Two suspects connected to a $140 holdup at Milford MoTour Inn drive in theater were captured after a 90 mph chase. Earl Morton Hunter Jr. and Lawrence T. Thiel were arrested at Newtown after a mud stained escape from a stolen Cleveland car. Police recovered $99 in cash from the car and shoes.

Nine Hurt Sunday In Two Crashes
Nine people were injured in two separate accidents Sunday in the county. Carl T. Gray and a passenger were hurt when Gray’s car hit Clarence Mullenix’s auto. Mullenix suffered nose and wrist fractures. Sharp’s car overturned after a collision with Ford’s auto. Sharp and Ford, both from Branch Hill and Florence residents, face Loveland officials over the incident.

Families in Need Appeal for Appliances in Clermont County
The Clermont County Chapter of the American Red Cross seeks a gas stove refrigerator and a cabinet for dishes for the Robert E. Smith family of Denham Hill Road whose home burned down while they were away. They have three young children. In a separate loss, Mr and Mrs Walden Elmore and four children lost their Milford area home in a Sunday blaze.
