Bridge Repair Keeps East Fork Crossing Closed Eight Weeks
The South Milford Road bridge over the East Fork of the Little Miami River remains shut for about eight weeks after Sept. 12. Clermont County Engineer Walter C. Road Closings Ignite Dispute Over Aulen Road Fate
Thirteen residents met with Stonelick Township Trustees on Sept 7 to press that the township must maintain Aulen Road after a March ruling by Judge Louis Schwartz. Trustees, citing an Attorney General opinion, argue 21 years of nonuse ends township responsibility. They proposed vacating Aulen Road and about eight additional miles township wide, due to financial strain.
