W. W. Hamilton, County Extension Agent, announces a Youth Science Day at Mershon Auditorium Ohio State University Columbus on September 23. High school students and science teachers from across Ohio will hear a program titled Youth and Science New Ideas for A New Age.

Battle Of The Bands Night At Williamsburg High

Williamsburg bands contest dances from 8 to 11 p m with admission one dollar per person. Proceeds fund band uniforms and equipment. Also featured are talks by Drs Tyznik Gould and Jones. Various Clermont County students attending Youth and Science Day listed with teachers and sponsors.

University of Cincinnati Classes For Clermont County Teachers

Clermont County Schools announces two UC classes for Fall Quarter, Sept 27 to Dec 9, offered at Williamsburg Elementary School on Wednesday evenings. E D 555 Remedial Reading undergrad course taught by Mr. Clemons and E D 571 School Administration for Teachers taught by Mr. Thomas. Tuition $54 per course for non residents. Woman Hit By Auto In Batavia Injures Thornberry

Mrs. Juanita Thornberry, 35, of 180 Charles Street Batavia, was struck by a car at 4:20 pm Monday on Main Street near Market. Driver Mary B Maynard, 58, says Thornberry stepped into traffic on a green light. Thornberry suffered shoulder and ankle fractures plus lacerations. She was admitted in good condition to Jewish Hospital.

Recognized For Service at Cincinnati Suburban Bell

Mr Burger began his telephone career in 1927 as a groundman in the Plant Department and is now a plant staff supervisor. He is a member of Clermont Social Lodge 29 F. and A.M. and chair of the finance commission. He attends First Methodist Church and is past secretary of the Batavia Rotary Club. He and Ada have lived at their present address 22 years. They have a son Frank of Milford and a daughter Mrs Juanita Thornberry of Batavia.

Women Voters League Studies Clermont County Recreation Needs

Clermont County League of Women Voters schedules its first 1967 68 meeting September 21 at noon in Batavia with board sessions at 10 am. The program will evaluate Clermont County recreational needs and feature speaker Flach Douglas on conservation near the Little Miami Valley.

Mt Holly Church Fall Festival at Mt Holly UCC

The Mt Holly United Church of Christ hosts a Fall Festival on Saturday September 23 starting at 2 p m on church grounds one mile east of Amelia on State Route 125. Activities include games needlework white elephant booths door prize drawings every half hour and an 8 p m auction. Proceeds support church projects.

Grange Election Set At Batavia Grange Hall

Clermont Pomona Grange No. 27 will meet for elections at Batavia Grange Hall at 8 p.m on September 16. Secretary Ella Krekeler notes cookies for refreshments. The group will also hold a fall dance Saturday September 16 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at W T Community Park Hall with music by the Melodairs and door prizes.

Mobile X-Ray Unit Set for Clermont County Visit

The Clermont County TB Association and Board of Health announce a mobile chest x ray unit visit next month with a $1 charge per x ray to offset costs. Locations include Milford, New Richmond, Bethel, Batavia, Williamsburg, and Cherry Grove on specific Saturdays in October. 16 years and older encouraged to participate. Batavia firefighters also reported a grass fire on Stonelick Olive Branch Rd.
