Fire Tears Through Creamery Neighboring Stable
A blaze discovered in the stable beside the French Bros Bauer creamery at Foster three miles north of Loveland destroyed the building and contents owned by Ben Kroener and Bob Radel. The creamery buildings were saved except for a damaged water tank. Losson creamery suffered about 210 dollars in loss and was fully insured. Loveland fire department fought the flames with a hand pump and help from nearby farmers.

Lightning Strikes Roudebush House Damages Interior
A lightning bolt hit the chimney of W. F. Roudebushs new Spring Street residence during a thunderstorm last Tuesday morning. It shattered the chimney, trailed into the bedroom, tore the mantle and grate free, and caused general damage. The lower side where Mrs. Fannie Hulick and family live was unoccupied but the family was dazed briefly. The property was insured.

Prominent Clermont County Doctor Dies in Dayton
Dr. W. E. Potts died at his Dayton home Sunday after kidney surgery. Aged about 58, he had run a Dayton drug store for ten years and previously taught in Batavia and Newtown. He leaves a widow, one daughter, and two sons. burial was in Union Cemetery.
