Consortium program helps women be self-supporting
Faith Reffit a 26 year old mother, abandoned and evicted, found help through the Clermont Warren County Consortium a federally funded job training program. After testing she entered Live Oaks Career Development Campus training with tuition grants and child care support from the YWCA. She completed the four month course and is now an office manager at Emerald Green Inc. She credits the Consortium for guidance and sustained support that led to self sufficiency and moving her family out of the basement. The program connects women with training, transportation, counseling, and placement leads including private employers.
