Leroy Doughman age 24 and Eva Fry age 14 of Newtonsville eloped last Monday, attended Blanchester fair, and remained together until Saturday when Doughman was arrested by Sheriff J B Rapp and Prohibition Officer Miles Deel and jailed in Batavia. The girl is jailed, daughter of Sherman Fry, and will face juvenile court. rape charges will be sought. Doughman wore a soldier's uniform and drove a Ford.

Twenty old stockholders purchased it and have been negotiating with a Louisville party and the Burley Tobacco Pool for disposal. The Pool sought the site for its ideal location and capacity while the Louisville party eyed it as a business venture to operate as a loose leaf warehouse. Negotiations with Batavia and outside parties continue.

Curing Tobacco In Field Increases Barn Space

District Meeting Set for Warren County Lodges
Norman L. Burnet representative of the 64th District in the Grand Lodge I O F was called to Lebanon on Monday September 10 to confer with Warren county lodges about a district meeting.
