Fourteen Days of Adventure for Clermont County Scouts Begin
Fourteen days of adventure started August 2 as 10 Clermont County Boy Scouts left Cincinnati by bus. Each boy received an envelope marked Philmont Fund Good Scouting and Good Luck containing $8, presented by the Ohio Valley Conservation Club. The trip included travel by bus and train and a stop at the Air Force Academy Colorado Springs. The Philmont ranch spans 214 square miles and offers camping and endurance tests before the Grant Trail Scouts depart New Mexico on August 14 for the return journey touring western points.
