Mrs Jessie Wirick 50 longtime Batavia Court of Common Pleas stenographer died suddenly at the Batavia Hotel on Monday morning after a morning routine. She leaves a Columbus son and sisters. funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Batavia Hotel and 1:30 p.m. in Georgetown with burial to follow.

An auto crash at Symmes Wednesday afternoon involved a Willys Knight driven by Mrs Edna Spear Branch Hill and another car driven by Mrs Munson Norwood at Loveland Madeira Pike and Hopewell Road. Mrs Munson suffered cuts bruises and a sprained ankle and was taken to Loveland by Dr Coleman for treatment. Both cars suffered damage with minor injuries to Mrs Spear and her vehicle also damaged.
