Airman 3-C Geo W. Watson aged 18, of Steubenville and Milford, died in a two vehicle crash near Geneva New York. Survived by his grandparents Mr and Mrs Jones his stepfather Myles D Jones and his mother who died seven weeks ago. He had just enlisted in the Air Force three and a half months prior after graduating from Steubenville High School and working at the Farm and Home Center Milford.

Seven Chicagoans Hurt In Car Crash Near New Richmond
Seven Chicagoans were injured when their car skidded off US 52 west of New Richmond. Driver Melvin Hartwell 21, his mother Essie Hartwell 44, brother Elbert 10, sisters Geneva 16 Ellen 13, and neighbors Vera Martin 21 John Reidl 15 were treated at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital.
