Sixth annual Music Expo showcases 12 marching bands
The Forest Hills Instrumental Music Association marks the sixth Music Expo at Anderson High School Brown Stadium on Saturday September 10 at 7 30 pm. Linda Smith and Pat Leder co chair the event featuring 12 bands from Anderson Bethel Tate McNicholas Moeller Roger Bacon Ross Sycamore Turpin Western Hills William Henry Harrison William Mason and St Xavier. Judges provide taped critiques per Ohio Music Education Association guidelines. Tickets at participating bands or gate 250 for adults 150 for students. Refreshments and parking available.

Free flu shots offered to seniors in Clermont County this September
Seniors in Clermont County may receive free flu shots in September through the Southern Ohio Health Services Network and Clermont Senior Services. Shots are available on several dates at locations including Milford Owensville Gay Street Williamsburg Loveland Bethel New Richmond with a suggested donation of 3 dollars to help offset costs.

Autumn Quarter class registration opens at Clermont College
Registration for Autumn Quarter starts Tuesday September 20 at Clermont College with daily processing and specified hours through September 20. A $10 late fee applies from September 21 4 am to 4 pm. Academic advisors assist in scheduling. New noncredit offerings include Knitting Crocheting Advanced Stained Glass Calligraphy Pattern Fitting Importing and Exporting Parenting Family Home Computers Jazz aerobics Guitar and more with start dates in late September and October.

Sewing classes begin at Extension Service in Batavia
The Cooperative Extension Service of Clermont County starts a Clothing Construction Techniques series on Sept. 1 with monthly sessions. Each first Thursday, participants tackle a home sewing problem, bringing garments to work on. A second program, Raving Home Computer, is also offered.
