Amos Fugate and Harry Comer helped remove the victim from the pole. He died en route to Lady of Mercy Hospital.

Two youths face burglary charges in Berry's Pharmacy and Osborn's Grocery in New Richmond. Charles Jodrey aged 18 was arrested by Police Chief Hermon Reid and held to the grand jury. the other youth is in Juvenile Court.
