Rites Held For Child and Food Poisoning Victim
Al Morgan the keyboard virtuoso of the flying hands and radio TV star will perform free at the Mall at Coney Island on September 6 and 7 with Moonlight Gardens backing by George Smith's Orchestra. A Clermont County native, Morgan lived in Laurel five years and played piano at the Methodist Church. He studied voice at Cincinnati College of Music and rose to fame with Jealous Heart before becoming a top radio TV performer. Girl Hitchhikers Are Apprehended Near Here
Clermont County juvenile officer Fred F. Holt and local police chief Charles Spaulding arrested two teenage girls found hitchhiking near here last week on their way to Alabama. One girl, 16, hailed from Louisville Kentucky and the other, 17, from Butler Pennsylvania and on probation for auto theft. They will be returned to their homes as records indicate.

Waste Paper Blaze Fought by Milford Firemen
Milford Fire Department battled a stubborn blaze at the home of Andrew Williamson about 8:50 PM Friday east of Milford. The fire, likely started by waste paper in a heating stove, confined to the second story of a frame house owned by Ralph E. Hodges.
