Patrolmen Solve Ten Auto Thefts in Mt Carmel Area
Ten auto thefts, seven in Clermont County and three in Eastern Hamilton County, were solved by State Highway Patrolmen and a Hamilton County probation officer. Boy 8 Struck By Car On Old Rt. 74
Eight year old Danny Williams son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Conn of 1019 Glen Este Lane was struck and killed as he pushed a bicycle along Old Road 74 in Glen Este at 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Ruth Eileen Rice, 20, of Batavia Williamsburg Pike drove the car that struck him. He was dead on arrival at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. Funeral services were held at Moore Funeral Home Batavia with burial at Laurel Cemetery. He leaves a brother Randall and sisters Margie Susan Williams and Theresa Conn plus grandparents Elbert and unnamed Williams couples.
