Burglars Rob Edenton Home. Checks and Cash Stolen

Two old age pension checks for 11 dollars each and 48 dollars from a hog sale were taken, with small trinkets missing. A woman's black veil was left at the scene. Birth Announcement in Capital City Courthouse
Early Thursday at 4 15 am a seven and a half pound baby girl was born to Judge and Mrs Orville Halbisch in the county seat. The child will be named Edith Faye Rita Halbisch in probate court records.
