Milo J Harris long time editor and proprietor of the Bethel Journal died at his Bethel home Sunday October 21 age about 65 after kidney trouble. Funeral held at M E church October 23 at 10 a m conducted by Rev C N Fisher, remains sent to Camden Ohio for interment. He leaves a widow.

Joy Riders Captured by Cincinnati Authorities
Three Cincinnati boys ages 13 to 14 took a Studebaker six passenger car from C. F. Maham on Walnut Hills. They drove to Batavia began to run out of gas 25 miles from home and were arrested by W. E. Kain and turned over to Sheriff Rapp. Juvenile Court released them to their parents after a confession and the car was returned to the owner. The incident caused a stir at the public building due to the youths involved.

Born near Locust Corner November 16, 1839 he lived within miles of his birthplace his entire life. Funeral services for Lewis were held at the Amelia M E Church on Sunday October 28 with Rev. Russell and Bishop Earl Cranston speaking. He leaves a widow and nine children, three of whom are in the M E Ministry.
