County to Lease Part of Farm for Nonprofit Hospital Use

Ohio Attorney General Paul W Brown states Clermont County may lease part of the County Home Farm to a nonprofit corporation for operating a general hospital. Mussey Plans Conferences on Area Projects

State Rep. William H. Mussey of Clermont and Brown Counties will meet in Middletown with Highway Department officials at 9 a.m. to review progress on I-275 and the Appalachian highway. At a noon Columbus luncheon he will discuss a private Ohio River development near Ripley with Melvin Rebholz. Milford and Sardinia groups join Columbus talks on sewer improvements and aid from state authorities.

Robbery Targets Milford Coin Collectors Returning From Show

Coin collector William Bain and friend Tom Herdman were robbed Sunday on Ohio 30 after leaving a Ft. Wayne Indiana show. They were forced off the road by three men, ordered from their car, and forced to walk across a field before returning to the scene.

Clermont Nat Plans New Home Office at Circle Freeway Site

Clermont National Bank wins state approval to move to a seven acre site at the Circle Freeway interchange on Ohio 28, purchased earlier for 230000. The bank has expanded Milford Shopping Center quarters with three drive in lanes and operates branches in Loveland Batavia Owensville Mt Carmel Cherry Grove and Williamsburg. A chest x ray mobile unit will visit Mt Carmel School on November 1 from 10 am to 2 pm and Milford Shopping Center from 3 to 7 pm.
