Family Service appoints Neil Smith to Clermont County duties
Neil Smith, a Family Service of the Cincinnati Area caseworker and Red Feather Agency consultant, will bring counseling and casework services to Clermont County. He will identify needs, coordinate with physicians and teachers, and support families to prevent breakdowns while operating from offices in Clermont and Cincinnati. Smith, a University of Connecticut graduate, served in the Army and has been with Family Service since 1958. he is married with a son.

Jep D Patterson and wife faced charges after Warren County officers found nine children aged 1 to 15 living in deplorable conditions on Elzreth Rd. Patterson, who earns 106 weekly, said he works nights in Norwood. The nine were fed at a sheriff's restaurant before being moved to a Children's Home. Leslie Brannum 42 of Fa yard Batavia was acquitted in Common Pleas Court on charges brining up an embezzlement claim from Jake's Bar and Grill near Glen Este. Jake and Mrs. Krimer testified of missing 1800 from an open tavern safe after Brannum left briefly April 12.
