Don Ebright Visits Clermont County on Governor Tour

Republican candidate Don Ebright toured Southern Clermont County Monday greeting voters in Bethel Felicity Moscow and New Richmond. He appeared with residents at New Richmond's First National Bank and was welcomed by the Felicity-Franklin School band. Local Republicans John Hayden Earle Kincaid Manly Hill and Judge Harry Britton joined as introductions. the tour was arranged by the Clermont County Women's Republican Club and the Citizens Republican Club.

Fourteen Cler mont County Men Report For Military Induction

Mrs Taylor Receives Injuries In Route 131 Crash

Mrs Lela Taylor 54 of Batavia and her husband William D. Taylor suffered serious injuries when their car collided head on with a vehicle driven by Herbert Stubbs of Golf Manor Ohio on Route 131 last Saturday around 4 45 p m Their grandson Stephin Sutton also traveled in the car and was unharmed Stubbs who had another accident at Camp Dennison earlier in the day was charged with leaving the scene Mrs Taylor was hospitalized at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital with a crushed knee multiple leg and wrist injuries and forehead cuts.

Vesper Concert At Milford Church By Webb And James

A vesper concert is planned at Milford Methodist Church next Sunday at four. Circle 5 of the Women’s Society of Christian Service sponsors. Baritone Verlyn Charles Webb, Broadway alum and West Coast concert performer, will sing six numbers. Organist Harry K. James of St Thomas Church Terrace Park will perform three pieces and more offerings are planned.

Anstaett Couple to Celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary

The sixtieth wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Charles Anstaett will be celebrated with an open house at the home of their daughter Mrs Cora Lytle on Sunday afternoon October 29 from 2 to 6 o clock. Family members invite relatives and friends to visit the couple.

Clermont County Home management questioned by resident

Mrs. Katherine Mitchell complained to the Clermont County Commissioners last week about faults at the Clermont County Home overseen by Clyde Boner. After the meeting the officials visited the home and found conditions generally satisfactory. Boner said the complaints were not substantiated. A fuller report will follow next week.

Inquest Held By Coroner

Frederick Smith a 73 year old Williamsburg veteran died of an internal rupture after an inquest by Clermont County Coroner F S Skeen and autopsy by Dr Frank Dectra. Smith died last Friday night but body found Sunday after neighbors John Luxemeyer and Yancy Miller searched the home. deputies assisted. Second wife Lilley, 54, had filed divorce proceedings weeks earlier.

Upper Clough Civic Club Plans Club House

The Upper Clough Civic Club met at Mrs. Harry Knauper Tabasco Pike on October 18 with many members present. Plans were discussed to build a new club house. Nominations for officers will be at the next meeting October 1 at Mrs. Gaston Yates Tabasco Pike.

Clermont County 4-H members and advisors host an Achievement Program at Amelia School Auditorium on October 27 from 8 to 10 p.m. W. B.
