G O P Campaign Drive Set for Clermont County Rally Dates

With under two weeks to election day the Republican effort in Clermont County schedules key rallies. Newtonsville hosts a Wednesday event with Forest E Ely, ex prosecutor, as speaker. Friday features Gilbert Bettman ex Ohio AG at Goshen School. Saturday includes Albert Daniels to address Laurel Church with a chicken dinner. Final windup at Amelia schoolhouse on November 3 led by Dusty Miller with music by the Amelia band and the YRC quartet.

Batavia Woman's Club Meets Next Saturday

The Batavia Woman's Club will gather next Saturday October 27 with Mrs Ivy Robinson hosting. The program includes Romantic Poetry with readings from Keats Gray Southey Leigh Hunt Moore Byron Shelley and notes on Romanticism credited to Francis H. Deter.

Plans completed for Clermont County’s second corn busking contest by County Agent Baugh. Event set for Saturday Oct 27 at Walter Cowdry farm two miles north of Williamsburg on State Route 276. Farms Change Hands Around Batavia in Clermont County

Clermont county farms are changing hands around Batavia. O. B. Larby of E. W. Edwards Co. bought the Swift farm known as the Judge A. T. Cowen home adjoining Batavia below town. Howard Green of the Gibson House Cincinnati purchased two Wm. Glancy farms on the Owensville pike north of Batavia. Hoyt Ulrey bought the Walker home west of town and Dr. Oxley of Cincinnati acquired the Kate Stultz home west of Batavia and modernized it.
