Roy Ralston of near Williamsburg Ohio died Sunday at 10 am while cutting stove wood on the East Fork hillside of John W Lytle land Known as Yellow Hill He slipped over a 30 foot embankment into four foot deep creek water The body was taken to Mabam Funeral Home after Coroner Sam White Felicity deemed the death accidental His wife Edna witnessed the fall and three other survivors include a child and his wife survived by one child.

Former Batavian Mollie Carter Ockerman Dies in North Carolina
Former Batavia resident Mollie Carter Ockerman died October 6 at her Hendersonville home in North Carolina at age 72. She graduated Batavia High School in 1881, taught eight years, and was married to superintendent J. E. Ockerman. Burial was at Plan fort on October 9. She is survived by her husband and two brothers T. D. Carter of Batavia and Arthur Carter of Newcomerstown.
