The postponed corn husking contest near Williamsburg was held Monday at Edton Myers farm. Edgar Stockton of Williamsburg won the men’s 80 minute event with 1260 pounds husked, marking three consecutive wins. John Manley was second with 1118 3/4 pounds and Russell Christie third with 812 1/2 pounds. Elton Hutchinson led the Vocational Agriculture Boys’ 30 minute contest with 364 pounds, David Christie took third with 293 pounds.
