Miss Frances Reese states in the September service report that 94 children were under daily care of the Child Welfare Board.. 38 in boarding homes, 26 in free homes, seven in relative care, and eight in wage homes. Nearly a hundred boys and girls from five schools helped harvest the Clermont county apple crop. Labor official J A Ashton says the yield will run about fifty to sixty percent of normal with good quality fruit.
