Farm Tragedy Claims Deerfield Road Lumberman
Joseph Maham aged 65 of Deerfield Road died after a logging accident near his mill. A large log broke from its bindings while he loaded it onto a wagon with a mule team, fell on him and crushed him. He died within hours. He leaves a widow and two grown children. Funeral services were held on Sunday with wide community attendance.
