The Ohio farm club program ends its year at fall county fairs with 24 000 enrolled and a projected 75 percent completion rate. Last year 18 000 enrolled and 70 percent finished, with Montgomery county reporting 96 percent of spring enrollees exhibiting. Club work extends through all 88 counties under Ohio State University extension.

Farmer Gored by Bull at Camp Coolidge Fort Defiance Va
Virgil Duff, a Waterloo road farmer, was gored twice by a Jersey bull near his home. He held the animal down with a chest lock until help arrived, then was taken indoors. Duff, tall and strong, suffered wounds in the groin and side but remained stable. Orville Cox and others aided. the bull was driven off.

Driver's license suspended after alcohol charge in Clermont
Oscar South of Cincinnati drove to Batavia on Sunday and crashed into a guard rail on Kline's hill, crushing his Ford. He pleaded guilty to operating an automobile while intoxicated before Mayor Ross. He was fined 100 dollars with costs, and banned from driving in Clermont County for one year. The fine was suspended.
