Assignment to Mulberry School Addtion Work
National Youth Administration will place eligible Miami Township youths aged 18 to 25 in on the job work at the Mulberry Township School addition. A Cincinnati area youth counselor will visit each Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm to assign workers. The program runs a forty hour week for two weeks per month with construction expected to continue through December. Brick and exterior work may finish sooner. a new cistern and drainage lines and athletic field grading are planned.

Goshen Wins First Series Game in County Championship
Goshen defeated Williamsburg 1 to 0 on Williamsburg ground in a sharp pitching duel. Grimm and Leak held the hitters to five hits apiece with Leak issuing no walks. Goshen scored in the second when a botched throw allowed the runner on third to score the only run. Next Sunday the series resumes at Goshen with a win clinching the title for Goshen or forcing a deciding third game.
