In New Richmond at New Richmond ball park on Sunday 2000 fans watched the opening game of a three game series. New Richmond beat Williamsburg 6 to 5 in a game marked by 14 Williamsburg hits off Witschger. Lahn belted a seventh inning homer described as the longest drive on the field. Betz Pence Kinney starred for Williamsburg while Frey Brooks Maylet did the stick work for New Richmond. Next Sunday the second game moves to Williamsburg with a large crowd expected.

Juvenile Delinquency Case In Batavia Court
John Parker Loveland marshal arrested Ethel Smith and Mary Crabtree both 16 of Columbus at a Love land homebrew joint and jailed them in Batavia. The girls were accompanied by young men from Madisonville and returned in the morning. The juvenile court with Judge Woodman presiding heard the case Monday and notified their Columbus relatives.

Fox Hunters Plan Four Day Hunt and Dog Show
The Fox Hunters Association of Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio met at Batavia Armory to organize a four day hunt in Clermont County from October 27 to 30 with a committee choosing the site. A Pointer and Setter Bird Dog Association contingent announced a joint four day field trial at Grant Highway Whit Hartwell farm near Amelia. A big feast is planned on Thursday October 29 on Reed farm between Batavia and Hamlet, with a free feed for the public. A dog show at Batavia armory on October 27 expects over 200 dogs from Kentucky and Ohio to compete for prizes as Earl Fishback, Wm Ware, and David Roberts chair the feast and show preparations.
