Veterans in Fayetteville Welcome Fifty-Niners at 234th Ohio Assembly

The 234th annual muster of the 59th Ohio Volunteers gathered in Fayetteville Brown County for a large veterans reunion. Generous hospitality from locals filled a grand grove dinner for about 500 with banners, band music, and speeches by Gen Hurst Judge Hulick and others. Death notices for several veterans were read as the day closed with cheers for Fayetteville.

Burke alleges she was seduced by Alonzo Barnes after promising marriage. Barnes, a wood-turner, is named as her alleged decoy and companion.
