Crime report highlights cler mont county in crime data
The state Uniform Crime Reports suggest total crimes are down but figures are misleading. In 1984 only six of Clermont County’s 16 police departments filed reports. Clermont shows high court activity with 34.4 percent of felony appeals and 21.8 percent of misdemeanor appeals in the eight county district. Domestic and juvenile case rates per 1,000 people show Clermont above state averages. Shelter notes describe ongoing battering issues and resources, including the House of Peace and regional shelters, with funding from license fees and appeals.
