Edenton Youth Shot in Field Near Grosnickle Farm
Charles Fawley 21 of Edenton was shot in the chest shortly before 11 a m Tuesday while working in a field on the Grosnickle farm. He is in critical condition at Bethesda hospital. Charles Conway 65 of near Edenton is jailed after a fight over a gate and pasture led to the shooting. Conway, captured by a posse, is charged with firing a .38 revolver four times, with one hit on Fawley.
