Batavia Flower Show Attracts Horticulture Enthusiasts
Batavia Garden Show on Sept 17 drew over 200 visitors and 54 exhibitors from Batavia and nearby towns. Awards highlighted an Invitational Class won by Williamsburg and Nassau-themed displays. Blue ribbons went to numerous individuals in Artistic Arrangement and Horticultural classes with junior exhibitors showing strong talent. The Educational Exhibit featured tropical fish and bird nest displays, as Batavia Garden Club plans more programs for 1963-64.

Carter Thanked Hospital Visitors at Clermont County Night
Kenny Carter commander thanks American Legion and Auxiliary members who visited the Veteran's Hospital last Friday. Williamsburg led attendance in Clermont County night scenes. The group held a social for ambulatory patients, toured wards, and distributed cigarettes along with doughnuts and coffee.
